The "ORTIM c6" application facilitates the creation of straightforward, professional time studies in accordance with REFA standards on iOS-enabled smartphones, including iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad. It serves as an alternative to the established time study devices provided by dmc-ortim. Note that version 2.0 and above require a device equipped with 64-bit architecture.

Utilizing validated measurement methodologies, the app records timing data and allows users to assign performance ratings directly via access keys. It also enables the definition of reference quantities and highlights outliers or interruptions. Additionally, users can describe, reconfigure, or remove work cycle elements as needed. There appears to be no restriction on the number of studies that can be conducted.

ORTIM c6 is designed to handle various types of studies, including cyclic, non-cyclic, combined, and allowance time analyses. On-site statistical evaluations of individual work cycle elements or entire studies can be performed directly on the device, thereby reducing observation durations. The app also offers functionalities for copying study frameworks, streamlining preparation and data analysis processes, which accelerates obtaining results. Its extensive configuration options allow for adaptation to company-specific requirements and standards.

The data generated within ORTIM c6 can be transmitted via email to colleagues, consolidated from multiple users, and stored on a PC for comprehensive further analysis. This flexibility broadens the scope of data utilization and reporting options available to users.
